In the 2011 Community Read Day, over 15 members of Memphis Mortgage Bankers Association participated in reading to children at A.B. Hill Elementary.
Feedback from one of our members: "He was excited to take his book home to read to his Grandma, Mom, and Dad. He gave me the biggest and warmest hug before I left. This little guy will hold a special place in my heart! This was such a wonderful program and I am so honored that I could be a part of it. I cannot wait to come back and I surely do not want to wait until next year. I would love to participate in future events! Thank you so much for having me! This really made my day!"

The Mortgage Bankers Association of Memphis is a local chapter of the Tennessee Mortgage Bankers Association and the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, the national association representing the real estate finance industry. Our membership is comprised of a diverse group of industry professionals: Mortgage bankers, mortgage brokers, title companies, attorneys, appraisers, credit reporting agencies and insurance companies.

The Mortgage Bankers Association of Memphis has adopted the Canons of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America and the Code of Ethics of the Tennessee Mortgage Bankers Association. The Professional Standards & Code of Ethics are concerned essentially with the behavior of member firms and their employees in four primary areas: impartiality, confidentiality, fiduciary responsibility and legal responsibility.
